DAO Vote Wraps Up: OG Logo Wins

 

It’s official ,the votes are in, and our OG Jupiter logo is here to stay! The Jupiter DAO dropped the news today at 16:44 WAT on X (@jup_dao), and let me tell you, the squad has spoken loud and clear. No fancy new design, no Catstanbul special edition , we’re keeping it classic, just the way we like it.

So, here’s the tea: the vote kicked off late February after the team threw out a proposal on Jupiter Research (Feb 26, 2025). They called it a “fun” vibe to get us all hyped and bring some newbies into the DAO game. Fresh off the Jupuary #2 drop to 1.2 million of us, the Q4 2024 ASR claim, and that epic Catstanbul conference (our first big bash!), it was the perfect time to rally the troops. The idea? Maybe switch up the logo – toss in something new like that Catstanbul variant. But they left it up to us, the real MVPs, to decide via vote.jup.ag.

We staked our JUP, flexed our 1:1 voting power (you know the drill stake it, vote it, unstake it if you need to with that 30-day cooldown), and got to work. Voting wrapped up today, March 02, 2025, and boom,the results hit X like a Solana tx: OG.

“The vote has spoken! Classic Jupiter logo stays strong. Sometimes the OG is just perfect as it is.” Real talk,  we’re not messing with perfection. That logo’s been with us through the swaps, the perps, the LFG launches.

This ain’t just about a picture, fam. It’s us telling the world we love our roots. Jupiter’s sitting pretty with over $2.6B TVL, and our DAO’s got that $10M and 100M JUP war chest from the jump in March 2024. We’ve been out here making moves – think $860M Jupuary airdrops, 50% revenue shares, and ASR keeping us stacked. This logo vote? It’s proof our 300,000+ strong crew (shoutout Reddit fam for the stat) can flex and keep things real.

Keeping the OG logo means Jupiter’s still us, that Solana DEX vibe that’s got Raydium and Orca checking their rearview. We’re heading into Q1 2025 with big votes coming, and this W shows we’re locked in. Plus, it’s just dope to see our voice matter, even on something chill like this.
